[She slips out of bed beside him early Sunday morning, showering quickly, piling her hair up in a clip atop her head and getting dressed before she takes over the entire kitchen, though she cleans up as she goes. She's more than halfway through prepping for dinner when she starts on breakfast -- French toast and bacon, figuring Steve will be waking up soon. She's putting the finishing touches on breakfast when she hears him on the stairs and she glances at the clock -- nearly ten. Not bad timing-wise on her part. Yay.
She'd taken time to make up not one, but ten Easter baskets on the kitchen table, all of which are overflowing with Easter grass, colorful plastic eggs filled with candy (and some spare change in a few of them), and chocolate bunnies in packaging. They're set neatly side by side, labeled with names but out of the way of the two place settings that are set up for breakfast. She wipes down the stove, setting the plates on the table just as Steve enters the room.]
