Yeah, I guess. [She considers.] My parents never wanted to do anything for Easter but I always envied the kids who got all the candy and had fun, you know? There...may be about two hundred plastic eggs hidden around the house for tomorrow.

[Because she has no idea that all of the kids will be there to help Max get settled.]

You hid eggs around the house?

[Jesus Christ, Robin. Hopefully she didn't go anywhere near the pool.

He sighs slightly, a hand going up to run through perfect and slightly messy hair. ]

I'm not much for Easter, ya know ?

I know. Your parents sucked.

[She moves to get the milk out of the fridge to pour them something to drink with their breakfast.]

Just figured we could do better than our families did.

Yeah.

[Thanks for that reminder,Robin. ]

This will be good for Max. Smart thinking on your part.

[She just voiced the truth that they both know.]

Thanks. Hope you're hungry?

For breakfast? Always.

[You know it's his all time favorite meal, Robin. You never skip breakfast.

Ever. ]

[And that's why their entire dinner spread is other breakfast foods and not a thing that's traditionally considered Easter, except well. Eggs.]

Great. Eat up.

[She plants herself at her usual spot at the table and picks up her fork.]

You really didn't have to do all of this, you know?

[He nods towards both the food and cute Easter baskets.]

I know. I wanted to. I don't really know why. Just...fixated on it this week and then --

[She waves her hand around.]

Thought it might be interesting to start our own tradition.

I'm not much for holidays.

[Robin of all people knows that. Holidays just aren't the same anymore and they're constantly lacking.]

But it'll be good for Max, yeah?

And Eddie. And all the kids, really.

[Hopefully.]

I know damn well Eddie will like it.

[Eddie literally likes anything that involves food. Especially candy. ]

[She smiles, digging into her food.]

Figured we could take Max and Eddie their baskets later today.

[Steve laughs a little. ]

I think they would both really appreciate that. More so Eddie.

Yeah, probably.

[She laughs, too.]

I really hope we can get him out of there soon.

[Before something horrible actually happens.]

Especially now that he won't have Max.

[This has been a concern for Steve for a good while. ]

We can take turns going up there like we have been all along. He won't be alone.

[Steve is just worried that the cops will try to take Eddie eventually. ]

[She's worried about that, too. She reaches out and squeezes his hand.]

[Steve gives a half, weak smile. ]

We can't let anything happen to him.

We won't.

I just want him the hell out of there. I don't trust the hospital with him much.

[As stupid as that sounds. ]

I take it as a good sign that they let Max move into his room to begin with. Someone there must know the accusations are false.
