[She hates not being able to see. Picking up on people's nonverbal cues has been a long-standing thing she's relied on and now she can't. But she can still sense that something's wrong. Robin's voice is more subdued than usual. Maybe she'd had a long day like she said, or maybe there's something else going on. She wishes she could see because she's sure she'd be able to differentiate if she could see her.
She shifts a little on the couch. She was getting better at being able to walk a few steps, but it also took a lot of energy and she was tired.]
Think you could help me back to my chair? I think I kinda want to lie down for a bit before dinner if that's okay.
[She glances up at him when he steps back into the living room.]
Had a little trouble with a visitor at work today. Not Tommy. [She clarifies, knowing exactly where his mind would go.] Someone I used to kinda be friends with. Dash Montague. He was -- in your class. [She doesn't know if Steve will recognize his name, or if they ever interacted. Dash's family was rich, lived in Loch Nora, too. Though if Dash was back living there, she had no idea.]
We were sorta friends? We hung out in a little group for a couple years before I caught on to what a jerk he actually was when he cheated on his girlfriend. And by that I mean, he tried to kiss me, and he wasn't happy when I said no.
[She leans against him almost subconsciously.]
I hadn't seen him til like, two weeks ago when he showed up at the store out of the blue and was pretty insistent he was going try again. He left, but he came back again today and he didn't want to leave and then when he did -- I asked Nancy to bring me back and she sorta insisted Hopper get involved.
[Robin of all people is well aware on Steve's view of cheating in committed relationships. It's a sore spot, a huge trigger and Steve doesn't stand for it.
His body begins to grow tense as Robin explains what Dash had done and how he practically invaded her personal space. ]
[She just really, really hadn't wanted her first kiss to be with a guy. Especially one like Dash.]
He's looking for him. It's - I mean it sucked, but it could've been worse and there's really not much he can do. [It's not like they can arrest a guy for kissing someone against their will. That is not a thing that's realistic. But she's sure Hopper will scare him.]

[He promises as he helps escorts her back to her room and onto the bed. ]
