[she is going to very slowly begin backing them toward her bed, not breaking contact as she does.]

Yeah. Wished the movie was longer, actually.

[He keeps his arms around her loosely and follows her lead. Carefully and slowly mirroring her steps as she guides them both towards her bed.]

[nancy hesitates when her legs hit the bed, before she hesitates and just hugs steve fiercely for a moment. she tucks her face into his throat, simply breathing in his scent while she holds him. shit, she has it bad.]

[Steve keeps his arms around her in a protective manner, keeping her close to his chest. Shit, he's missed this more than he wants to admit.

He's missed her. Not just sexually but just her.]

[she's in the same boat. it feels like cheating, almost, to have him over, to have him close without the active threat of an apocalypse breathing down their throats, but what could be done about it?

nancy lingers there a bit, soothed by the feeling of his arms, before she finally takes a bracing breath and gently bites his neck.]

[They're allowed to have a tender moment, right? One that isn't ruined by terrifying creatures or the end of the world. They deserve it at least.

Steve makes a soft noise at the bite, hips bucking a bit forward in response. She knows his neck had always been a major week spot and it isn't a secret that he loves when she isn't afraid to be just a little rough because who would have expected Nancy Wheeler to be so?]

[she can't help but smile a little against his skin at the noise, the movement, before she murmurs into his neck-]

I'm here with you now. Just you, Steve.

[He makes another soft noise. Completely content with her snug and warm within his arms.

Safe. ]

I'm here with you too, Nance.

[she does feel safe, which - well, it's not a feeling that's been easy to come by of late. nancy lingers there for just a little longer, then finally leans up to kiss him again, half in apology for the distraction.]

[And he's perfectly content with her cuddled within his arms like this. He hums softly against her lips as he kisses her back softly.]

C'mon, Steve.

[her voice is soft, but pressing. she's worried she'll end up getting too emotional if she doesn't part from this embrace soon.]

I thought you were gonna take me to bed.

I'm not allowed to makeout with you a little first?

[Personally he could kiss her all night if she allowed him to do so.]

Think you can keep it down?

Yeah. Of course we can make out first.

[but she shoots him an amused look then, before resting her forehead against his shoulder.]

You know I can be quiet.

Good because I could kiss you all night.

[He challenges her look with one of his own. Eyebrow raised in amusement.]

You also get pretty damm vocal.

[the sweetness of his words leaves her flustered, and she briefly hides her face in his neck again.]

Not when my parents are asleep in the house.

[He bends his head down to nestle against her hair. Sighing softly while his hands gently begin to rub along her sides.]

That my warning to not get carried away?

Just a casual statement of fact.

[but her hand will begin worming back up his sweater.]

Can't make any promises but I'll try my best.

[His hand slides up to gently tug at the bottom of her form fitting sweater.]

[nancy leans back then, just enough to give herself room to lift her arms slightly, as if asking if he wants to pull it off entirely.]

You think my mom was mad before. You'd better try.

It's kind of hard to control myself once I get started, Nance. Plus you feel amazing.

[He gently tugs her sweater up and over her head. Letting it fall to the floor as his eyes admire her flushed skin, the bra that's covering her.]

[she rolls her eyes like she isn't embarrassed, reaching up to unhook her bra.]

Yeah. You won't feel anything after my mom breaks your neck. Shh.

Yeah, yeah.

[He mutters as he tugs his own shirt off and tosses it too. In all honesty he isn't too worried about her mom. His focus is on her and her alone. ]

[nancy is, if only because her mother has had an overprotective streak go wild with everything that's been going on recently. she leans in slightly, touching his chest appreciatively, before she sits on the edge of the bed to lean down and peel off her socks.]

[Steve's aching to brush his fingers against her soft skin like he had in the theater. He's eager to appreciate every inch of her body while she cries against his ear in appreciation.

He begins to peel off more layers of clothes until he's standing in only his boxers.]

[she watches him undress even as she peels herself out of her own jeans, kicking them off toward the wall. there's no shyness, just the normal sort of nerves one tends to have, even as she grabs his arm to reel him closer to the bed with her.]
