[The pure relief that fills her when she's able to lay eyes on both Steve and Nancy -- to see that they're both unharmed -- is immense. She didn't think Nancy was lying, but sometimes one person's version of okay is drastically different from what's okay in Robin's mind. And if either of them had gotten hurt for going after Dash because of Robin --
Well. Fortunately that's not the case.
She spends some time talking to Hopper, who tells her that really the best they could do to Dash is warn him to stay the hell away from her, that she could get her employer involved and have them take out a no trespassing order against the guy so he could be arrested if he tried to come back to Family Video. He's not pleased that Steve and Nancy had gone after him, had beaten him up pretty badly, but he's not locking them up. Whether or not Dash decides to press assault charges is a whole other thing. He'd already left the station, was getting checked out at the hospital, apparently. He'd keep them updated.
She exhaled heavily before making her way back to her friends who were in a couple of chairs in the main room of the police station.]
[It's not like Steve had went after Dash personally. Well, not really. Steve had been infuriated when Robin had explained what had happened to her and he vowed to threaten the hell out of his jerk.
Steve had lost control.
Steve is the only one in handcuffs, Nancy had not actually physically attacked Dash but she had threatened him herself.
Hopper didn't need to know that and Steve wasn't saying a goddamn word. He glances up slightly when he notices Robin enter the room.]
[She locks eyes with Steve and holds his gaze for a minute, holding her breath and then slowly crossing the room until she's standing in front of her friends.]
[Steve can't say that he feels much better but he's a bit satisfied that he at least beat Dash's ass for upsetting Robin. Hopper called it "overreacting" but Steve stood firm in disagreeing.
[She gives Nancy a small smile before she heads away a bit to give them some space. She leans into Steve, their arms pressed together. She rests her hand on his back.]
[Hopper comes over and undoes the handcuffs, and orders him to stay out of trouble. Robin rises to her feet, reaching out to help Steve up to his feet, her hand catching his and sighing softly at his bruised knuckles.]
[She nodded at that and stared out the windshield. She's relieved that they didn't find him near her parents' house. That would have been extra creepy.]

You dingus.
[There's no heat to her voice at all.]

No one upsets or hurts Robin.
No one. ]
Hey.

They're not keeping you. But Hopper thinks there's a chance that Dash is gonna press charges. [Which can't happen. It won't happen.]
no subject
I told them not to cuff her.
[He mutters lowly with a soft but frustrated sigh. ]
Yeah. I would like to see the asshole try.

[He reassures her once again. The last thing he wants or needs is Robin being worried. ]

I think you're about to get sprung.

[Steve mutters lowly, shifting because the handcuffs make him extremely uncomfortable.]
Thought I was being kept for a second.

Let's get you home.

Actually, that goes for anyone he cares about. ]
I need to check on, Nance.

[She wraps her arms around herself and heads for the door.]

[Steve tries not to be long but he wants to make sure that Nancy is alright too. It wouldn't be fair to just leave her behind.
Before long he's joining Robin outside.]
no subject
All right, jail bird. Time to fly the coop.
no subject
[He mutters as they walk towards his vehicle. He can't help but glance over his shoulder to see if Nancy was heading out herself. ]

[She crawls into the passenger seat, glancing in the rearview mirror and watching as Nancy gets into her own car. She gives her a little wave.]
no subject
[Steve watches as Nancy heads towards her own vehicle and gives them both a small wave in return. ]
no subject
Where'd you find him?
no subject
[Steve wasn't exactly sure. Maybe he had fled town and eventually snuck back under the radar?]
