[By the time Steve arrives, she'd managed to make it to the front door to unlock it and...was promptly far too tired to make it back down the hall to her room, so she'd sprawled out on the sofa, one arm tucked beneath a pillow and the other beneath her stomach, willing herself to just pass out so the various aches and pains would stop.]

[Steve tries to stay as quiet as possible as he enters Robin’s house. He doesn't want to accidentally disturb her if she's resting.

And sure enough.

Steve let's her bed as he heads towards the kitchen in order to put up the soup. ]

[Over an hour passes before she drifts awake, forehead furrowing in discomfort as she slowly opens her eyes to find Steve in the living room a few feet away. She exhales and manages a tiny smile before letting her eyes close again.]

How long have you been here?

[Steve shifts slightly when he hears Robin’s groggy voice. Dark eyes fall along her softly and he offers a small smile. ]

Over an hour.

[She groans a little.]

'm the worst host ever.

You're not feeling well and I wasn't going to disturb you.

Thanks. [She managed to open her eyes again, though the light made her head throb painfully, which was generally the worst part.]

Glad you're here.

Yeah.

[Robin definitely looks like she doesn't feel well at all. ]

I put the soup in the fridge for you.

Okay.

[She closes her eyes again, turning her head and coughing into the pillow beneath her.]

Wanna put on a movie?

You sure it isn't going to disturb you? You look pretty damn exhausted.

Which sucks cause I woke up and I was fine.

[She smiled fleetingly.]

It'll be fine. I like having some background noise when I sleep. Makes me feel like I'm not alone.

[Did she mean to admit that? Probably not.]

Alright.

[Steve doesn't mind backgrounds noise himself. It keeps his mind pretty distracted.]

Anything specific?

Anything's fine. [She probably won't be awake for much of whatever it is, anyway. But at least she probably won't be passed out for sixteen hours?]

Right.

[He gets up and moves towards the video tapes. Surely he'll be able to find something to entertain them both. ]

[Robin listens to him looking through tapes and then eventually sliding one into the VCR and booting up the TV. She appreciates that he keeps the sound on the lower level.]

You can sit on the couch if you want. [It was going to be the easiest place to watch TV from.]

[Steve moves to join her along the sofa. Letting her stayed curled up and comfortable. He really hates seeing her like this and hoped it'll pass soon. ]

You should try eating later.

Yeah.

[She shifted a little to give him a bit more space.]

I will.

Hopefully it will help you feel better.

[At least give her a bit of strength.]
