[is she using him? he enjoys this too, right? so it's not like she's doing something too awful here. she figures she's pretty enough that it shouldn't be a hardship, at least.
or maybe that's all just rationalizing her own guilt away. regardless, she's pulling her other leg up into the chair with her, giving herself better leverage to lean in and kiss the side of his mouth in the dark.]
[Is she using him? If so thats some Steve would like to know and why. He also doesn't know why she's wanting to hookup with him again like it's a casual thing between them.
But it's difficult not to give in. It's Nancy.
He turns his head slightly so that he can capture her lips and kiss her softly.]
[she still hasn't quite managed to fully orient herself since her breakup with jonathan. most of the time she's fine, but sometimes, when the worst pangs of loneliness hit, steve is one of the only people she trusts herself with. he's one of the only other people her own age who actually know her.
she lifts her hand to catch his cheek, just sort of holding him there a while.]
[He has little insight about her relationship with Jonathan. Nancy just informed him that they broke up. Steve can understand the loneliness, he's felt it ever since the break up but Nancy can always be open about it.
Casual makeouts or sex shouldn't feel wrong, right?
He keeps the kiss slow and tame just in case she's starting to have any second thoughts.]
[He's keeping everything light and casual out of caution and respect for Nancy alone. He also takes her hint and lightly flicks his tongue against her lower lip.]
[one of the tiny handful of other moviegoers turns around from the front of the theater, peering back at them in the dark, and nancy shrinks back into her seat.]
[steve might not care, but it's clear that nancy is mortified. she takes a sip of coke to brace herself, fiddling with the arm rest to try to raise it, and - failing that - gives up and just moves to slide into his lap.
[she feels a little guilty about the rush of relief when steve doesn't direct her back to her own seat. there's not a lot of time left in the movie, and the fight scene behind her is loud, so when she feels steve press against her, she just rolls her hips against his lap in turn.]
[she isn't stopping him. instead, she's just gently weaving her fingers into the hair right at the nape of his neck there, giving it an appreciative tug at the little kiss.
innocent enough, if one ignores the extremely subtle rock to her hips where she's pressed against him. she can't quite tell if the movie is about to roll credits or not, but she's greedily hoping to keep this for at least a little longer.]
[Steve has forgotten about the movie completely for all his focus is going right into Nancy. He makes a soft noise against her skin at the tug to his hair. She of all people knows that's a turn on for him, always has been. He continues to casually grind his hips against her since she hasn't made the attempt to stop him.
He drops a hand to press softly against her lower back to help keep her in place as he drags his lips against her warm skin.]
[that little noise has her breath catching harder in her own ears, and she can't quite resist giving his hair another gentle pull just as he grinds up against her.
she hesitates, then reaches for his chin to tip his face up so she can kiss him properly again. nancy reaches for his hand not bracing her back and slides it against her stomach and ribs, over her sweater, a silent request to be touched.]
[The second tug earns her another trust of his hips but this one is a bit rougher, a bit more needy. Steve is ready to meet her lips again with another deep kiss, tongue pressing past her lips.
Steve keeps to the rules that Nancy has set in place, so as she guides his hand in a silent plea to be touched he remains above the clothing as he gently cups one of her breasts.]
[the rules were fully arbitrary, anyway; nancy was just trying to respect steve's own hesitations, his misgivings about their strange arrangement. she sighs unconsciously into his mouth, a pleased little sound as her other hand tracks down his chest.]
[it's easy enough to give in to that same energy, to match rough kiss with rough kiss. by the time the credits begin to roll, both of her hands are cradling his cheeks, her breath coming short.

[nancy glances sideways at him.]
We'll just... keep it all above clothes.

Alright.
no subject
Cool.
no subject
[Might as well get this started and keep the small makeout session at an innocent minimum despite Steve's mind drifting else where.]
no subject

We can get out of here if you want?

nancy shakes her head softly, trying to coax him into a deeper kiss.]
No. I'm proving I have self-control, remember?

Oops, sorry.

It shouldn't be a surprise that it doesn't bother Steve that people might witness them kissing. Everyone does it, especially people their age.
He doesn't understand why she suddenly decides to shy away but he isn't one the press.
He lets his body fall back against his own seat.]

it's less noisy than leaning, she figures.]
no subject
You're killing me here, Nance.
[He mutters softly against her ear as she settles herself along his lap.]
no subject
Too much? I just thought it'd be easier.
no subject
[He mutters against her lips between deep, needy kisses. This way he can actually press himself against her for a bit of much needed friction.]

Movie's almost over.
[murmured between hasty kissing.]
no subject
[He's not stopping anytime soon unless told too. He's far too occupied with his lips on Nancy's and his hand giving the cupped breast a small squeeze.
His kisses are getting a little deeper, perhaps even a bit rougher as he gets lost in the moment.]
no subject
she whispers against his mouth again-]
The lights are gonna come up soon.
